Do you want to get to know your pet sitters better? Our team is united by a deep love and care for animals, and we’re excited to share our stories with you. Whether it’s through long-standing friendships, community involvement, or personal rescue efforts, each of us brings a unique passion and dedication to providing the best care for your beloved pets. Let me introduce you to our compassionate pet sitters and co-owners who are committed to ensuring your furry family members receive the love and attention they deserve.

Eva and Autumn initially crossed paths through the Asheville Area Professional Pet Sitters Association, where their mutual passion for animals ignited a friendship. Meanwhile, Karol and Eva found common ground while collaborating at a non-profit organization in Hendersonville. Together, we’re united by a shared love, care, and compassion for every furry client we meet.

Make it stand out

Eva and her husband, David, fell in love with the mountains when they moved to WNC in the fall of 2006. Celebrating nearly 18 years of marriage, they share their home with their 16-year-old daughter, Bailey, along with two cats and three dogs. Their household exemplifies their passion for animals and their commitment to rescue efforts.

Eva's involvement with multiple rescue organizations in the Asheville area reflects her commitment to animal welfare, evident in her current fostering role at Laps and Naps Home for Senior Cats and Furever Friends Animal Rescue.

Giving back to the community holds special significance for Eva and David, as they both served as mentors for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Henderson County. Their efforts aim to instill a love for animals in children while fostering a spirit of compassion and empathy.

Covering Hendersonville, Mills River, Flat Rock, Etowah, and Horeseshoe, Eva provides reliable and compassionate pet care services.

Autumn moved to the mountains as a teenager in 2007 after her father retired from the Navy. Growing up surrounded by cats, dogs, gerbils, and hamsters, Autumn developed a lifelong love for animals, considering them to be cherished family members. She finds great joy in earning the trust of shy or anxious pets during her stays. Since 2017, Autumn has been dedicated to the art of pet sitting. Before teaming up with Karol and Eva, she operated Autumn Leaf Pet Sitting, LLC. Autumn holds a background in Religious History and Communications from UNC Chapel Hill. Over the years, Autumn has cared for a diverse range of pets, including frogs, axolotls, senior animals, and foster kittens. Autumn now lives in Leicester, North Carolina, with her cherished cat, Lucy. She brings her wealth of experience and genuine love for animals to every pet-sitting assignment. She is honored to be entrusted with the care of pets in West Asheville, Leicester, North Asheville, Montford, and Candler.

When I look into the eyes of an animal, I do not see an animal. I see a living being. I see a friend. I feel a soul.

Karol Murray's lifelong dream of living amidst the mountains became a reality when she and her husband, John, settled in Fletcher in early 2020. Little did they anticipate the challenges brought by the ensuing pandemic, but their unwavering commitment to animals remained steadfast.

With almost 34 years of marriage, Karol and John have weathered life’s storms together. Their oldest son, Keegan, who is disabled, resides with them. Meanwhile, their younger son, Dakota, operates a business in California with his partner. Their daughter, Breauna, is pursuing her PhD in geology in South Dakota with her partner and volunteers at the Black Hills Raptor Center.

Karol and John share their home with a vibrant family of two dogs and two cats, most of them rescues. Karol's upbringing instilled a profound love and respect for all living creatures, leading to a diverse array of pets ranging from cats and dogs to rabbits, monkeys, hamsters, gerbils, birds, fish, and even baby raccoons.

Karol's dedication extends beyond her immediate family, as she and John have been actively involved with rescue organizations and nonprofits across multiple states. Now based in North Carolina, they eagerly anticipate continuing their impactful work within the community.

Karol services the areas of Hendersonville, South Asheville, Mills River, Fletcher, Fairview and Arden. Karol is thrilled to take care of your fur babies, ensuring they receive all the love and attention they deserve.
